Gillian was a founding member of our club in 1974. She has continued to be associated with the club in many ways during the ensuing years. She has spent many years on the committee and still takes a keen interest in the running of the club never missing an Annual General Meeting.
Gillian was a founding member of the Victorian Dressage Club and with 30 years of Dressage Judging to her current status of "A" level judge, the highest attainable in Australia. She has attended clinics with many of the top world class Judges including some who are only legends to many of us.
She rode competitively and had the good fortune to buy FLURRY a ¾ Thoroughbred of some talent. Successful at Medium/ Advanced level She lost Flurry at age eleven whilst working towards Prix St George. Flurry is still remembered today with the "FLURRY" trophy awarded to the best-performed club member at the Premier Cup. Gillian retired from competition with heart disease.
